These Terms govern your relationship with the operator of the website located at https://sportium-bet-ca.com ("sportium-bet") and your use of the services offered through it. Effective date: 31 October 2025.

Definitions

Operator: The entity that owns and manages https://sportium-bet-ca.com and provides the services described in these Terms.
User/Player/You: Any natural person who accesses, registers for, or uses the services on the website.
Account: A personal, non-transferable user profile created to access and use the services.
Services: Online betting, gaming, and associated features made available on the website (where lawful).
Bet/Wager: A stake placed by a Player on an event or game outcome offered by the Operator.
Bonus/Promotion: Any incentive (including free bets, bonus cash, free spins) subject to specific promotional terms.

Account Registration

Eligibility and age. You must: (a) be physically located in a Canadian province/territory where the Services are lawful and available; (b) not be located in Ontario (sportium-bet is not licensed by AGCO/iGO and does not offer services in Ontario); and (c) meet the legal gambling age where you are located (19+ in most provinces/territories; 18+ in Alberta, Manitoba, and Quebec). You must also not be self-excluded or otherwise prohibited from online gambling.

Registration and verification. One Account per person. Registration requires accurate personal details, email verification, and completion of KYC. We may request government-issued photo ID, proof of address, proof of payment method ownership, source-of-funds information, and any other documents reasonably necessary to verify your identity, age, location, or payment instruments.

User obligations. You must keep your credentials confidential, maintain accurate and up-to-date information, and use strong security practices. You are responsible for all activity under your Account. We may suspend or close Accounts that cannot be verified or that breach these Terms.

Location controls. We may use geolocation, IP checks, and additional controls to confirm your location. Use of VPNs, proxies, or location-masking tools is prohibited.

Betting & Gameplay Rules

Placing bets. All available bet types, markets, and game rules are displayed in the relevant interface. Minimum and maximum stakes, odds, and payout caps vary by product and may change without notice; current limits appear in the betslip or game UI when you place a bet. A bet is accepted when it appears in your betting history with a confirmed ID.

Cancellation and modification. Once accepted, bets cannot be cancelled or modified by the Player. We may void or adjust bets for palpable errors, market malfunctions, incomplete events, regulatory requirements, or suspected integrity issues. In-play bets are settled according to the official result or the applicable ruleset stated in the market description.

Conduct. Cheating, collusion, arbitrage via multi-accounting, use of bots, scripts, or unauthorized software, and any abusive behavior in chats/live environments (including harassment, hate speech, or spamming) are prohibited. We may mute, suspend, or terminate for violations and may void related bets.

Bonus Terms

Activation and wagering. Eligibility, activation steps, bonus values, wagering requirements, game weightings, maximum convertible winnings, and expiry periods are set out in each promotion's specific terms. Wagering must be completed within the stated timeframe; stakes placed after expiry do not contribute. Only real-money wagers count unless expressly stated.

Restrictions. Unless permitted in the specific promotional terms, combining promotions on the same deposit or wagering the same funds across overlapping offers is not allowed. Prohibited actions include low-risk wagering, bet covering, paired betting, or using bonus funds to hedge outcomes. Only one active bonus per Account unless expressly allowed.

Bonus abuse and remedies. We may remove bonuses, cancel winnings, and close Accounts where we reasonably suspect abuse, multi-accounting, or breach of promotional terms. Game exclusions, wagering contributions, and caps are stated per promotion and may vary by product.

Payments & Withdrawals

Methods. Deposits and withdrawals may be available via cards, e-wallets, bank transfer, and approved crypto providers (where lawful). Available methods depend on your location and verification status and are shown in the cashier.

Limits, fees, and processing. Method-specific limits (per transaction/daily/weekly/monthly) are displayed in the cashier. We do not charge withdrawal fees, but third-party/payment network fees or FX charges may apply. We aim to review withdrawals within 24-72 hours after KYC completion; delivery times depend on the method and intermediary banks/processors.

Conditions. We may require: (a) wagered amounts to exceed combined deposit fees/FX spreads before withdrawal; (b) withdrawals to be sent to the original funding method where feasible; (c) additional KYC/source-of-funds checks; and (d) split payouts for risk control. Chargebacks or payment reversals may result in Account suspension, debt recovery, and reporting to relevant providers.

Refunds. Deposits are generally non-refundable once used for play. We may, at our discretion, reverse unsettled bets or remove bonus funds in case of technical errors or regulatory requirements, with transparent audit logs.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for: (a) interruptions or delays due to network, device, or third-party outages; (b) software bugs or data corruption not caused by our willful misconduct; (c) inaccurate third-party data feeds; (d) force majeure; (e) losses arising from misuse of credentials, unauthorized device access, or violations of these Terms.

Cap on liability. Our total liability for any claim related to a specific bet or game is limited to: (i) the amount of the stake placed on that bet, or (ii) the net winnings due (if any), whichever is lower. Nothing limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by negligence where such limitation is unlawful.

Intellectual Property Rights

All content, software, databases, logos, trademarks, designs, and materials on https://sportium-bet-ca.com are owned by or licensed to the Operator and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, distribute, publicly display, or create derivative works from any part of the Services without our prior written consent. You receive a limited, personal, non-transferable license to access and use the Services for lawful, non-commercial purposes only.

Privacy & Data Protection

Changes to Terms

Termination & Suspension

Grounds. We may suspend or close your Account for: (a) failure to complete KYC; (b) suspected fraud, collusion, chargebacks, or bonus abuse; (c) breach of these Terms; (d) prohibited location access (including Ontario); (e) responsible gambling or self-exclusion concerns; or (f) legal/regulatory requests.

Procedure and funds. We will notify you (where lawful and feasible) of suspension/closure and reasons. Remaining real-money balances may be returned via a method we reasonably select, subject to AML/KYC checks, outstanding chargebacks, and any lawful set-off for fees or prior overpayments. Bonus funds are non-withdrawable and are forfeited on closure unless required otherwise by applicable law.

Dormant accounts. If your Account is inactive for 12 consecutive months, we may classify it as dormant, provide notice, and apply a reasonable monthly maintenance fee to the remaining balance, where permitted by law.

Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except that mandatory consumer protections of your province or territory of residence will apply where required by law. Any dispute will be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the ADR Institute of Canada (ADRIC) under its Arbitration Rules, seat Calgary, Alberta, and language English. Residents of Quebec retain all non-waivable rights under the Quebec Consumer Protection Act, including access to the courts where arbitration clauses are not enforceable. Class or representative proceedings are not permitted where prohibited by law.

Regulatory note for Canada. sportium-bet is not licensed by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) or iGO; services are not offered to persons located in Ontario. The Operator's authorizations in other countries (including any licenses issued by Spain's Dirección General de Ordenación del Juego to related entities) do not extend protections to Canadian users.
